Marriage Survival - Lunch in New Orleans Part Deaux

Eating dilemma. AGAIN. 

After much discussion about WHERE to eat and weighing in whether to go to our local spot Neyow's or try a new place called Melba's on Elysian Fields at the Claiborne intersection. Here's a good example of the power of Facebook. I saw in my feed a friend had liked their page. I hadn't heard of them so checked out their menu and reviews. We went back and forth finally deciding to save some dough ;) and go to Taco Bell. That way we could drop by Hell's Depot to get some stuff we really don't need.

Shut down the computer. Grabbed my purse and we headed out the door. Drove and parked. Walked in, ordered and sat down to wait.

Then like something out of a movie we both look up from our phones, meet eyes and utter "what happened to Taco Bell?" 

We are at Melba's.

It's called senility, kids.

Or, onset senility. Either way, Melba's is good stuff. Another local po-boy spot that also has a very nice laundermat and daiquiri bar.
