New Orleans Cemetery Voodoo Wedding

"Pamela is amazing! The photos she took for our wedding were stunning and exactly what we wanted. We felt extemely comfortable with her and would now consider her a friend. While we were having our ceremony I forgot she was even there. She wasn't one of those annoying photographers that is in your face and takes away from the moment. Bloody Mary Voodoo Wedding

Pamela Reed Photography was the best choice I made in planning my destination wedding! This may be long winded, and I apologize, but I cannot say enough about this woman! If you want the bullet list of points why you should choose this photographer you can skip my novel and go to the bottom! A few months after getting engaged I thought it was time to start planning our wedding. I had always said I wanted to run away, but yet I found myself attempting to plan a big wedding. Long story short, our budget was not big enough to accommodate the size wedding we would need to have. I found myself looking up destination weddings. Everything was geared towards island elopements, and to me, that was boring and cliche, we don't really like the beach. We wanted different. My Fiance and I then just started looking at places we wanted to visit. I have always wanted to go to New Orleans, it has been #1 on my list for as long as I can remember. When planning our wedding I made a list of what was most important to me so I could choose how to allocate my budget. Besides my groom, the 2 most important things to me were location/ style of wedding, and my photographer. Photography has always been a passion of mine, a hobby, something I admire. I have seen excellent wedding photos, and I have seen horrible wedding photos. I have been in 6 weddings, and attended countless others. I have seen passionate and charismatic photographers and photographers that must have just left their job at chuck e cheese before arriving at the wedding, and people paid all over the spectrum for their photographers. What I realized is in some cases you get what you pay for. Go for the bargain price, you're going to get bargain pictures. I was not willing to have poor photos. However, this was not the case with Pam. I used google as my personal wedding planner. Together we performed countless search queries to plan this shin dig. I had chosen my officiant first (Bloody Mary- Voodoo destination wedding), and from her sight I found Pam. I looked no further for a photographer. Her pictures spoke for themselves, she was exactly who I needed to capture our wedding, and again, the best choice I made. Not only was she easy to contact, she was helpful with planning, which was challenging for me as I was going on a whim and planning everything from a different part of the country. She calmed my anxiety, offered referrals for places to stay, eat, plan wedding dinner, where to get a cake, etc. I found her price EXTREMELY fair! Her photos are quality pictures, great pictures, and worth every penny. I am literally obsessed with our wedding pictures. She was easy to work with, fun, professional, prompt, I am running out of adjectives to describe her without sounding like a weirdo. SO, If you skipped to the end, This is why I would recommend Pamela Reed photography- 1) Easy to contact, quick to reply, very helpful 2) Cannot beat the price. Prices were extremely fair! I feel like I got a great deal! 3) AMAZING pictures. That's why you are reading this reviewed right? You want to make sure your pictures are perfect? Well, they will be. 4) Gets to know you and your significant other, or I am sure family or group if doing non-wedding photography. Asks for details of the wedding, who you are as people. This just made it easier for us all to work together, and for her to get those amazing shots. 5) Quick turn around! We received our photos in about one week! Full resolution, AMAZING pictures. 6) Artistic pictures! Her artistic style of shooting, choosing the right spot, the right light, editing- simply amazing. We wanted a different wedding, we wanted different photos. We wanted Pictures that captured the city, us and everything about our day in a not quite traditional manner, Pam delivered ten fold.
