If at all possible when planning your wedding include a cocktail hour. It gives your guests time to mingle, grab a cocktail and passed hors d'oeuvres while you two catch your breath, take a private moment and then knock out those posed group shots everyone needs. Assign someone to bring you cocktails, water or a snack. Your reception goes by very fast and this really helps the flow without you both feeling rushed in all the excitement.
