Wedding Tip Number 27 - First Dance - Pamela Reed Photography

I photographed a very cool wedding reception entrance by the bride, groom and wedding party.

The Crunk is the song played at the New Orleans Saints games and the bride and groom are huge fans so everyone, in their formal attire, came in to the band playing Crunk.  It was cool.  It is them and it made their wedding unique.

Wedding Tip: Pick a song that really represents you two, doesn’t have to be syrupy romantic.  At one of my weddings, the groom and his mom danced to AC/DC.  It brought the house down!  Its a party...so party!

The wedding below chose to enter with a secondline band followed by the entire wedding party. They made their first dance really unique.

  • Venue:  City Park - Popp Fountain and Arbor
  • Band:  Diablo's Horns (hint, their site opens to brass music so don't open at work!)
  • Officiant:  Joe Pitzer
  • Caterer:  City Park
