It's no secret that us wedding photographers are cake addicts and afficiandos. There is not a wedding that has a cake or dessert that I am not diving in. It's in my contract. I like cake!
So I think I can say I am a pretty good judge of cakes. There are all kinds out there. The awesome artistic ones wrapped in fondant and carved into works of art. And the beautiful, romantic tiered layers decorated with sugary flowers. Then there are THE CAKES! The ones you eat. The ones that you can't stop eating. The ones your guests can't stop talking about.
Well there is one cake out there that rocks my world. I found out about it from a bride at her wedding here in New Orleans. It was the best tasting cake I had ever had. And I am one sugar addict. And it comes from a very unexpected place at an unbelievable price in the wedding cake world.
Look no further for your wedding cake. It's the Berry Chantilly Cake from Whole Foods. Yup. Whole Foods. Give them a call. Tell the bakery how many you need to serve and get ready to immerse yourself in cakey awesome goodness!!
